A stinger golf shot is a low-trajectory shot that travels a long distance with a lot of roll. Here are the steps to hit a stinger golf shot:

1. Start by positioning the ball further back in your stance than you would for a normal shot.
   
2. Use a shorter club, such as a long iron or a driving iron.
   
3. Make a three-quarter swing, meaning that you don't take the club back as far as you normally would. This will help you keep the ball flight lower.
   
4. As you start your downswing, make sure that your hands are ahead of the ball at impact. This will help you strike the ball with a descending blow, which will produce a lower trajectory.
   
5. Keep your body weight forward throughout the swing to help you hit down on the ball and create more spin.
   
6. Focus on hitting the center of the clubface with a crisp, clean contact to maximize the energy transfer from the clubhead to the ball.
   
7. Follow through with your swing, keeping your hands low and the clubhead close to the ground. This will help you keep the ball flight low and produce a lot of roll.

3. During your backswing, try to keep the clubface square to the target line, while making sure that your clubhead is traveling on an outside-to-in swing path.

5. Make sure to follow through with your swing and release the clubhead after impact to ensure maximum spin and direction control.

The 2023 invitational Masters tournament has invited 17 LIV golfers to play in this years event starting on April 5. The group includes former Masters winners Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson along with a list of previous top performers.  Since the Masters tournament is an independently run organization and event, they can invite anyone they prefer to the annual tournament.
